I have a summer flowering Jasmine Officianale (excuse spelling), which is well established at the bottome of my garden. I wish to cut it back hard as it seems to be the only thing holding up my trellis, how far can i go?

This Dragon tree is about 2ft tall and as you can see it appears to be dieing from the top ie the dead leaves. I have been told you can cut a dragon tree back down its main stem and it will regrow is this true?

Good idea Marion, Terry you could also instead of a meadow mix, (sorry marion) plant later this year a gren manure mix which will enrich the soil for planting shrubs and flowers next spring.
