Doesn't sound good !!  The leaves that are starting to appear look healthy enough just no flowers

I split them after flowering last year.

I usually have lots of Snowdrops at this time of year.  This year the leaves have been slow to come through and I have very little flower.  What has gone wrong?

Lawn Problem

Thanks.  The lawn has been fed and aerated and has been looking good until recently.  I will try now to sort out the Red Thread although I was concerned that it might be a waste of time as my neighbour's lawn is more Red Thread than grass and I read on the link that the spores are air borne !!

Thank you Dave2356 - it looks (having read the RHS link) that if a neighbour has this problem and doesn't treat it that since the spores are airborne that even if I treat my lawn it could still be re-infected from elsewhere.  HELP !!!!!

Try egg shells - surely the coffee grounds police couldn't object to that !!

Rock Plants

Not sure of the variety.  One has white flowers and the other pale pink. They have flowered throughout the spring but are now seeing.

I put 2 new saxifrage plants in my rockery this year.  They have flowered well but the flowers are now seeding.  Should this plant be cut back as it is becoming straggly or should I leave it to die back naturally?

How to tie a conifer

I have sadly just taken down a large conifer and the little one beside it looks really sad.  It has become a bit misshapen.   I would like to tie it to make it look better and hopefully it will fill out a bit as it is getting more light.  What is the best way to do this and should I use wire or garden twine.
