Hi. I've just dug up and split my day lilies and replanted them. They still have some green tops. Should I cut these off to let the plants settle or just leave them to die with rest?

Thanks

Thanks for that. I need to give it a bit of a prune. Because of where it's situated it can't get any bigger than it is now, that's why I toyed witht the idea of moving it. What about cuttings? There are some nice looking non-flowering shoots there I could take if it's the right time?

Hi. I have an oak leafed hydrangea which has been lovely. Can anyone please tell me when I should prune it and by how much? Also, if I wanted to move it of take cuttings when would be a good time?

Thanks. Hope someone can help.
