The link says 'How to dig up and pot up roots of mint', but this is not it.

If you put it on now, there's still plenty of time before you start planting things in it. You don't need to dig it in, just spread it on the top and let the worms do the work! But don't spread it on if the ground's frozen, as it will take longer to thaw out.

Talkback: How to lift and divide herbaceous perennials

It's all very well saying 'Now is the time...', but could presenters be a bit more precise about when they are actually doing the work? Looking at the video, it could be any time between November and March.

Maybe it doesn't matter, but it would be nice to be reassured. Judging by previous comments, people have viewed this at different times of the year, so 'Now is the time...' isn't really helpful.

And does the sort of soil you're on or where you live make any difference to the timing?

Cat Poo in the compost !

You can buy products to deter cats, They're quite expensive and have to be renewed every few days, but as they're based on citrus extracts, I thought I'd try strewing orange peel around some tubs which cats decided would make a good toilet. You have to renew that every few days, too, but it's cheap and biodegradable. It seems to be working so far.
