Strimmer for small garden

Posted: 15/05/2013 at 20:30

I use a Worx (B&Q) rechargeable strimmer/edger.  It has been used almost daily for the past 5 years (I work as a gardener), its light, easy to manoeuvre, has automatic line feed that works well.  Happy shopping

Hi Jayne, I'm growing Marinka as a standard from a cutting, it's about 18 inches at the minute, ScotKats comment about trying to find a 3 leaved shoot instead of two is right, you'll end up with a bushier 'head' on your standard.

Looks like Willowherb, if you do let it flower, don't let it go to seed - it'll be everywhere next year

I tend to use a weed/feed/mosskiller in spring then a monthly liquid feed with Miracle Gro Lawn Food, seems to work well for me

I have some in pots Alison and when they've finished I'm going to replant them in the garden and hopefully they'll be back next year.
