Well we all know they're related to each other but how do they tell each other apart when they share the same names

We have 2 Keiths in the family, my brother and my cousin. We called them big Keith and little Keith.

The only problem is.....little Keith is now bigger than big Keith

Ideas for a end of garden mound?

I would invest in a couple of plastic dustbins and sieve the soil into them.  You can then use it to top up any raised beds when they need it,  (mixed with some MPC of course )

Hi Wayne and welcome to the site.  To post photos on here click on the green tree icon just above the text box and follow the instructions.

Photos are always helpful, (and we all love to look at other people's gardens )

I can't help much with the gardening issues being a novice myself,  but what I will say is don't try to do it all at once. Little and often is the key.

Others with more experience will be along to offer more advice.

Just be posative.  Look at what you can do. ...not what you can't.

My health problems are minor compared to yours.  I have a problem with my back that means that I can't bend,  (not that anyone should bend ) and I also have arthritis in my hands neck and lower spine.

I do most of my gardening sitting on a camping mat.  Little and often is my motto.  Before I start I have to set a timer for an hours time or I get carried away and suffer terribly .

First time growing veg

Thanks all. I have taken on board all your advice.  I have chosen those 4 vegetables because they are the ones we like best.  There is no point in growing veg you won't eat!

I am not expecting everything to flourish but if I get one serving I will be pleased that I accomplished something new to me.

First time growing veg

I have taken the plunge and planted some veg in a raised bed.  It is built on top of soil. I have dug out the soil sieved it and replaced it in layers with MPC. and mixed it in well, then raked it.

I have planted broad beans,  sprouts , cauliflowers and peas,  all plug plants.

Any advice anyone can give me will be gratefully received.  I am looking forward to being able to pick my own veg for dinner.

Thanks
