Love the tales Mike, and didn't it turn back the clock hearing you mention Woolwich. I was born in Dartford and bought up in Erith. We used go to Woolwich market shopping.

Evening all. Just finished my stint in the sweat box. Phoned OH when I got home, then watered the garden, in the dark !!!

How are you all and I hope you have been resting that foot OL

Loved the bit about small child and potatoes. Made me giggle

Glad you have all had a good day.

Edd My OH will help me out if I ask, but he knows what an independent b****r I am. Now I have got my garden looking something like a garden it isn't too bad. I can manage to do most of it in my own way.

I hope to start a new thread showing some before and after pics so you can all see what I was up against. Blowing my own trumpet really

But couldn't have done it without the help of all you on here. Thanks

You're all going to bed just as I'm coming online are you trying to tell me something

My phobia is birds flying free inside. Outside I am ok with but inside and I freeze. When we were kids we had an avery in the garden and when you went in to feed the birds they flew all round you. I had long hair and one got caught up in it. Need I say more
