Verdun, make sure you make notes of everything, including times, dates and who is present, if at all possible.

Worries & troubles that affect Forum friends.

Verdon,  When mum was alive we had her at home with us and she went into homes for respite, and if we were going away.

The first one she went into was for a week while we went to Ireland.

When she went in she was walking round, with a walking frame, chatting to everyone about everything.

When we collected her, we took her straight to the walk in centre. She couldn't talk, because her lips were so swollen, she had 3 pairs of knickers on, under her nightdress, and her day clothes!! She had some of another person medication. And she was dehydrated!!

The next home she stayed in was brilliant and she didn't want to leave. No prizes for guessing what one we used in the future.

What I'm saying is that all homes are not the same. Go round, (without prior notice) a look at a few.  A good home won't mind you just dropping in, at a reasonable time obviously.

Hmm - getting better but still not right.

I'll stop talking to myself now in case you all think I'm barking mad!! But I might come back & have another play later on.

At work, the management, in their infinite wisdom, decided that the individual departments would be called "business units" . Until they advertised for Business Unit Managers.....BUMS .
