Nice one Clari. Some mechanics think they can trick us women into getting parts we don't need.

Morning all.

Yes Lants it all washed out.  I tried a small inconspicuous area a couple of days beforehand.  I had no grey in those days tho.

When my children were young we entered the village carnival.  I was Grotbags and I dyed my hair and face with washable green spray on dye.  It looked good. And no it didn't rain. ....Thank goodness.

Good night Rubee.  I am at Jimmys in the morning.  10-30 Bexley Wing.  I might see you there. I hope things go well for your OH.

I am in bed too,  not sure if I will fall asleep yet as I had a nana nap this afternoon.

Day wasn't too bad Rubee.  I was attached to the drip from 09-00 until about quarter to 6, but it was on wheels so I could unplug it and go for a wander.  It shows on the front panel how much longer the bag of fluid has got left to run.  The only time you are not allowed off the ward is when the actual chemo drugs are going into you.  That takes 2 hours.

They provide a meal at lunch time,  but all I could eat was the soup and the ice cream.  I had my meal replacement drinks tho.

Back home.  There was wifi at the hospital,  but so slow I gave up trying to get online.  I had my tablet , ( and charger )  with me . It's got a lot of games and jigsaw puzzles on it so I wasn't bored.

On the journey home the driver had radio 4 on and they were talking about the amount of sentences that people start with the word so.  It reminded me how this post started.

Well I'm back from the hospital and what a day.  When my transport arrived the driver said he'd had a text saying that anyone going to Bexley Wing had to phone a certain number to see if they were still to go. I rang and yes I still had to go.  When I got there everything was down.  Total system failure.  Had been down all morning.  They finally got some machines going and I was treated at about 3 o'clock. At least it's another one done.

Tomorrow is a chemo day,  got to be there for 9 am and will not be home until about 8 pm.

It was me who mentioned the borrowers this morning.

Waiting for my transport now.  I have to be ready from 2 hours before my appointment time.  It is a bit of a bind,  but at least it is available. ......and free.

See you all later

In the foyer of our SM they have got their Christmas tree with an illuminated sign. ......only 41 sleeps until Xmas.

Breakfast this morning is a banana flavour meal replacement drink blended up with a fresh banana and a good dollop of ice cream.  Mmmmmmmmmmmm
