Hi All,

Not  sure if this should come under plants or problem solving but hopefull of some advice out there.

Pink Fantasy Clematis has so many flowers this year but no growth, it's not yet reached the top of the cane support let alone the fence !  I know they have to be planted deeper than in the pot  but can they be planted too deep and if so is that why there is no height to it ?

Thank you, Pauline.

Most of the stems and petals on all 4 plants have blackened a lot sooner than they should have. Lots of the leaves went the same way, still have some greenery and a few very small blooms, any ideas please?

Hi All,

The Times Sat 1st March had an article on Heleborus Party Dress Group.

I've not had any luck in tracking them down,  anyone out there know where they may be please ?  Thanks.

Thanks,  yes agree on the daffs.  Unfortunately most of the Hellebore flowers are out as I bought  new plants with flowers to see what I was getting. Banking on having the flowers for the next few months as some colour in a shady corner !  Give in and get some Primroses maybe, but not nearly as beautiful.

Can anyone tell me if they will recover after very strong icy winds  plus all the frosts,  I have (maybe had !) a lovely bed but the flowers don't seem to be recovering at all,  thanks.

HI,  I have a totally different problem.  Can anyone advise if I should dispose of a Photinia that due to wind, snow ice  etc is now at a very strange angle and the roots are very loose in the ground.  Thank you.
