I had a lilac tree that didn't flower for years, then I threatened it with uprooting and he presto it flowered.

I watched Chelsea Gilly, enjoyed it. Some nice interviews with the garden designers. I usually record the progs as they tend to repeat clips quite a lot. Easier then to fast forward past them.  I like the red button option though.

MORNING FORKERS

My aquilegias too Matty. Right at the top of my garden getting sun most of the day, I notice they anow going to flower soon and the ones in the sun are the furthest on.

Keukenhof definitely worth a visit, beautiful, wonderful colours and scents.

Attract blue tits

They love my holly and big shrub rose, lots of prickly protection and tast titbits. (Apologies food the pun!)

Hardy fuchsia

I always do my big hardy fuchsia late, it just flowers a little later and after all we are around 5 weeks behind this year according to Beechgrove team.

advice for starting a seed swap event

I do a plant swap in work. Planet and seed swap together would be a good idea.

would imagine a seed swap quite straight forward. Would you need to think about some instructions on how people package the seeds? Publicity would be the biggest issue, need to get something in the local papers, posters, contact gardening clubs allotments etc
