Evening all, just got back from a meal out with the girls, mushroom crostini, pot roast lamb followed by raspberry crime br??l??e. Lots of good chat.

I once went to a fancy dress party dressed as a liquorice all sport! Made a necklace of said sweets and dressed in lots of different sports clothes - that was when I had the energy to do sport!

Glad you're feeling better Geoff, think you've passed your cold on to me Geoff.

Jean you are right it is cute and very colourful.

Students, eh? I love it when the students come back in until they start coming to me with problems, sometimes I just want to say use a bit of common sense.

Keep smiling Geoff.

Need a break from the computer now, so might poppy head outside as the sky is brightening up a bit.

Morning all, working from home today, so I thought I would check in. Cold and dull here, but not raining currently. We are supposed to get a respite today.

Pam, what a lovely photo.

Haven't watched the baking yet, watched Midsommer instead, but fell asleep in the middle of it. Am sure I will find a chance to catch up with it today.

We don't get many birds in our garden, too many cats around, I do feed in the winter though in a tall shrub rose next to a holly, they are safe from the cats there

Hollie, that must have been quite frightening. Rocky cat just bites me sometimes for no reason and I end up with a big bruise, but nothing like that,

I heard on the radio on the way home that ther'sa shortage of apples from abroad so supermarkets are going to br stocking not so perfect British apples. I wonder if they will be cheaper or will they say that they have to charge more because of the shortage.

If any of you are growing apples, there might be an opportunity for you!

I like the advert of the 2 women in the street which reflects that illustration very well. Can't think of the brand though (not very good for a marketer!

Evening all and hello Artjak. I put on quilt overs like that. Used to work for a company that made quilt covers and one of customers in an Irish department store showed me how to do it.

What a busy lot of writers you've been today, I didn't see any spammers! Does anyone remember something called Ulster fry that you could buy in Woolworths when they did food?

Lovely Pam. Morning by the way. Not too wet here at the moment, but it is on the way, if we are lucky we might be on the edge of it.

Have a lovely day all, catch up later.
