Evening all, drove home through torrential rain, water flooding off the hills and running right over the roads bringing stones down with it. All the road mending they did after the last lot now needs doing again. Water coming out of the pavement. Idiot drivers speeding through all the water? Can see some blue sky now though. Plants battered.

Turkey breast retrieved from freezer and lovingly cooked by OH with Phil Vickery method, Christmas dinner in August but without the sprouts.

Good cottage pie too. I buy Branston baked beans and dried cranberries when they are on special offer, really good price.

You never actually know who has put the reviews on the site either Geoff.

Still awake Geoff, OH on phone to his son, so have had to put SW on hold. You're right Jo, it is hard to watch, but I shall persevere.

When OH was working, they called him Victor Meldrew, his name is Vic (after Mature of course!). I have to say there is some similarity, he can rant with the best!

Evening all, told you it would be nice when I was in work. Busy day, had to treat myself to a large scone (Costco specials, excellent) when I got home.

I bet you will have a great time Becks, Jess certainly will. Just go and relax.

Managed 5 mins in the garden cutting some crocosmia lucifer for my big vase and some astilbe to put in a vase on my desk tomorrow.

Yawning now, not sure if I will be able to stay awake for part 2 of Silent Witness.

Sounds like a song required - and it's hot, hot, hot! But not here.

What's the weather like in your area?

Yes, that's her concern too, advice from mumsnet was to leave her be , everyone else carry on eating normally and she will come round.

Becks, Jess's eating habits reminded me that my friend's 3 year old is only eating toast at the moment
