Well done Dean, you deserve a soak.

I'm well known for tripping over patches of sunlight Geoff.

Flo, I'm going to have to have a word with my cat, he keeps biting me, obviously thinks he's part dog.

Feeling virtuous, just made lentil soup using up left over leeks, spring onions, carrots and potatoes with the lentils. I love it - cheap, nutritious, tasty and more important toy easy to make.

The bees love Monarda, I love Culzean Castle, but haven't been for a while.

Is there rosebay willow herb close by? You tend to get a lot of seeds from that.

Runner beans.

Already in, but I will replace the compost and just make sure that it is well drained.

Cowslip we could do a trial and see how it compares with your methods this year.

Good to talk

I joined to talk gardening with others, my OH is not really interested although he tries. It's a great outlet and I enjoy helping others as well as being helped. I also feel like I have met a great group of friends through the fork handles thread, eve though we haven't met, we have a good laugh and I have become addicted.

Flo they are so sweet, which half is cat???

Geoff, he must have been using Ultrabrite! What is it with all these celebs wanting bright white teeth, it's not natural and sometimes looks ridiculous. I bet you can trip the light fantastic!

I think I might try it next year, I have an old plastic dustbin with a climbing rose that is not doing too well, I could put beans in it.

Phew FloBear, I hate that feeling, we live by a main round and when Rocky the cat goes walkabout I always worry that he has been hit by a car. I have a feeling that he is usually hiding under a bush in the garden sniggering when I call him. Got home from work the other day and he sauntered up the pavement to meet me. I wouldn't mind but we have fields and moors behind us, but he prefers to cross to road to the woods. Bl***y cats!

I agree, they don't generally do a huge amount of damage on them though.
