Fork Handles

Hello all, you've been a busy bunch today, just had to catch up 4 pages, you made me chuckle. Sadly had to go to work today.

Kate, Don't eat the daisies for me, I used to watch all the DD films and that was one of my faves. How about a rose for my rose? I'd better not sing in the garden though, the dogs would starts howling.

Mmmmmmmm cream teas. I am a bit of an afternoon teas lover, we had one after our wedding. Have vouchers for AT at Slatterys in Manchester which is supposed to be really good, must book it soon.

Collecting seeds

Keep checking the seed pods, when they rattle they are ready to collect. Put the seed heads in a paper bag and store them until they are fully dry.

Had a shower here too and very windy.

Kate, that sounds like a lively wedding, hope you swirled your ribbon for us. My favourite dancing song is 'We love to boogie on a Saturday night' (you have to read that to the Robinsons ad music). I'm a 70s girl at heart! I jig around the living room when the ad comes on,it's the only chance I get to dance now.

What is this pretty plant, please?

Do the slugs like them? If not they wil go on to my shopping list for next year. Thanks for posting the photo, I had forgotten hoe pretty they are.

Get Rid of your Lawns

Ditto re front gardens, I don't have one as front door of cottage goes straight on to pavement. My garden is too steep for a lawn, but I wouldn't have one even if it was flat. More space for flowers needed in my small garden!

It certainly does Kate, but the wonky steps don't help, keep reminding OH I'm in danger, but to no avail. Perhaps he is thinking about the insurance pay out if I break my neck. Even the spiders webs are attacking me today.

I like the sound of ribbon disco dancing, count me in.

Very hot after extreme gardening, need to rest now and watch the pretty swirling ribbons on the red button. Think I'll have to do a bit more to make up for fry up, having salad for tea though with fruit salad and pistachio ice cream, I'll make it a small scoop!
