Hedgecutting - When allowed?

Posted: 14/07/2012 at 16:57
I think I'll print that info and pass it to one of my neighbours who has just had his hedge cut, hope it didn't frighten the chirpy sparrows living there too much. They usually sounds as if they are having a party at 7am when I leave for work.

Don't you believe it, Lokelani, that's what they told me, so I bought the lovely dark red one - 2 days later gone! But then we have so many slugs and snails, that they have to eat what they can get.

I took some down in my garden and left the stumps in, was a bit worried about honey fungus, but they've been fine. Enriched the soil and carried on planting. It's been a couple of years now, perhaps it's time I had a look at them!

Just enjoyed sausage sandwich, cooked by hubby. Can't make up my mind whether to go out into my garden (midges biting) or go to NGS Stone and Roses garden near Chorley.

July in the garden!!

Your garden looks immaculate and beautiful Lilylouise, just been out in mine for a short while and it is totally out of control. I am going to have to take the shears to geraniums and alchemilla mollis, my steps have disappeared under them. Good job I have some holidays coming up.
