picking primroses

The piece brought back happy memories for me of picking primroses as a child with my dad. We picked bluebells in the woods too. Wouldn't dream of it now of course, but just a reminder of times gone by.

Bit the bullet! Here comes spring...

Spring sunshine, but I still have a foot of snow in half of my garden. I will resort to gardening mags instead.

Happy Easter one and all! Woke up at 5.45, well 6.45, thoughtnInwould get up and went back to sleep.

You all sound like busy bees, snow still there, no gardening to be had. Not sure what to do today. Any suggestions? No Easter eggs to eat! They'll be on sale tomorrow .....

Afternoon, nice and warm in the sun here, but top of garden very wet and the bottom covered in snow, still around a foot in places. Can't do much out there, hope I haven't lost too many plants.

We're they people who would look after your garden Geoff?

Bought a pot of 3 hyacinths for a pound in Morrisons. Just catching up on GW and got GW mag to keep me going this aft.

Hiya Tarw. Canaries, lucky you! Ask away whenever you have a question, someone will always know the answer, not usually me I might add. Fellow south Walian here, just not living there now.

Having neighbour problems gets you down, particularly when unjustified, it might sort itself out in the end, ours did.

I watched Corrie too, a satisfying outcome. Sunita's turn to be unjustly accused now. is this becoming a theme?

Only till Tesday Geoff, lots of assignments to mark, so will do that at home. Will go in for a day to see students panicking about their dissertations. Students have another 2 weeks off. Only 2 more weeks of teaching after Easter, hurray!

All this talk of hot cross buns reminds me there are some in the freezer. I particularly like them toasted the lots of butter.

Haven't been out all day, feeling very lazy.
