Yiou can pull out herb robert really easily, it is a native geranium. It does go all over the place though. Chances are you will never get rid of it, it seeds very easily. It can be pretty in the right place.

Good Evening FORKERS

Evening, all gardened out today, decided to clear my top bed of geraniums as they had taken over. Now got some more space to fill. Not sure what to put in it yet. Moved some stuff from pots into the garden too, been waiting until it got a bit cooler.

Not going to move off the sofa all evening. Strawberries and ice cream still to come.   Hope OH will be getting it.

Matty, I hope you made a lot of noise this morning, although teenagers would probably sleep through it anyway.

Evening, excellent fish and chips eaten, then went in to Boundary Mill and spent far too much money.

Chicky, I love Barcelona, there used to be a lovely coffee shop just off Las Ramblas and around the corner from El Corte Ingles, open on a Sunday morning for coffee and cake.

Thanks for the welcome back. Addict, nice to meet you.

Matty I am having problems with my philadelphus too, Verdun thanks for the advice. Mine is in a big pot, I think I need to get it in the garden once it has flowered, got some buds.

Liz,  thanks for the garden ideas. Already have Hever on the list, but none of the others. Might pop in to Wisley too on the back home.

How to restrict the spread of a climber?

Drastic action though Dove, I hate killing plants, even when they are a nuisance. Always feel guilty about tI somehow. Just got rid a of a lilac that I had in a pot. Got hit by the late snow and frost, no leaves let alone flowers this year. I still keep thinking it could come back next year, but have 2 others, so it got the chop

Verdun, what a beautiful garden and packed to the brim. I hope you get the time to just sit and enjoy it. My garden is tiny, still don't manage to get everything done that I want too. Roll on retirement,  the sooner the better. Unfortunately in the band that will now have to work another 6 years. Work definitely gets in the way of my gardening.
