Afternoon, been working all or morning. Lots of snow here, but it is wet stuff so road seems OK. Very windy, so blizzards at times. Had to let next doors cat come in as he seems to be locked out. He didn't seem to be very happy when I opened the bedroom window and he thought it was their door.

Huddersfield got it too, so good job I wasn't going in.

Poor you Jean, we had a similar experience and had no electricity for 3 days before Christmas one year. They grow rhubarb by candlelight in Yorkshire.

Didn't Tony Blackburn have a song that was to do with choppers?

Morning all, I am awake, slept for 10 hours, went out like a light.

Bunny, I am always sending strange words on the iPad, cos I forgetntomread it before pressing submit. It's the b****y predictive text that's the problem , it has no sense at all. I have to make the print bigger as I keep need to go back and add letters. my fingers are too big.

We got your snow Bunny, sounds as though the cars are going up the road OK. They were out gritting last night. Must be windy out there too, wind is whistling through the cat flap.


I don't do ironing unless I really really have to, OH does vacuuming, mine is not good enough for him! Actually he does most things in the house now.

Hello forkers, I am back home, hurray! Almost knocked off my feet by the wind at the airport. Had rain, snow and hail here. My snowdrops aren't out. Too tired to think, so will love you and leave you.

Hello forkers, hot day in HK, but I was working the afternoon and evening shift. Got a sore throat, had to let them go early. Glad you got some sun too.

Teaching all day tomorrow, then on the night flight home. Arrive back Monday am, hurray

Evening all, well here at least. Last 2 days coming up Spent 2 hours queuing at the cable car to see the Buddha. Fantastic trip in the cable car with a glass floor, maybe not for you if you don't like heights. DIdn't go up the steps Too tired after the queuing.

Afternoon to you, going to bed time here. Lovely walk in the park today, some lovely flowers out birds tweeting, old mean playing mah jong, and others with boats speeding around the boating lake. Forgot to take camera, but my colleague took one to show you, but I haven't got it yet.

In HK the kids can pick an Engllish name when they are in school. One of my students is called Raptor  He must have liked Jurassic Park. Also have Clarin and Kinny.
