Hello forkers, I am back home, hurray! Almost knocked off my feet by the wind at the airport. Had rain, snow and hail here. My snowdrops aren't out. Too tired to think, so will love you and leave you.

Hello forkers, hot day in HK, but I was working the afternoon and evening shift. Got a sore throat, had to let them go early. Glad you got some sun too.

Teaching all day tomorrow, then on the night flight home. Arrive back Monday am, hurray

Will catch up with you all then, enjoy your weekend.

Evening all, well here at least. Last 2 days coming up Spent 2 hours queuing at the cable car to see the Buddha. Fantastic trip in the cable car with a glass floor, maybe not for you if you don't like heights. DIdn't go up the steps Too tired after the queuing.

Geoff when did you take that photo of Rocky cat? When I ring home from HK he can hear me and miaows at me. (how do you spell that word?)

Gong for a soak in the bath now.

Bye for now

Afternoon to you, going to bed time here. Lovely walk in the park today, some lovely flowers out birds tweeting, old mean playing mah jong, and others with boats speeding around the boating lake. Forgot to take camera, but my colleague took one to show you, but I haven't got it yet.

In HK the kids can pick an Engllish name when they are in school. One of my students is called Raptor  He must have liked Jurassic Park. Also have Clarin and Kinny.

Enjoy the rest of your day. I'm off to bobos.

Morning forkers, been working all morning on material for tonight's class. Off out for some lunch as no time for dinner tonight. Just finished the doggy bag goodies from afternoon tea.

Lottie, some enjoyable bits, not long hours and lack of sleep - still adjusting

Caz, I might have to take those steps in stages, I'll be worn out.

Some interesting photos yesterday, snazzy shorts.

I'll catch upwith you later

Not enough time really, some days have to be to teach in the evening, it was a day off today. I went to China a long time ago, 1989. just before Tianinmen Square. eaching tomorrow evening, day off Friday. At least, still need to answer my emails and try to do some marking. We are going to go to Lantau Island to see the Big Buddha - apparently huge.  Lots of steps to climb, not sure how my knees wil cope

I'll pass, thanks. Is it the new year, everyone seems to be clearing out, except me.

Hello all, greetings from HK, only 4 days to go. Been to the Peninsula Hotel for afternoon tea today, service not as good as expected, surrounds lovely. good tea. Tea at the Ritz was better. Then to Ladies Market, bought a lovely fake Mulberry bag.

HK is very green even though it is hugely built up with skyscrapers, they plant wherever they can, lots of little garden squares, any area that is available for planting around the road system they plant, roundabouts, verges etc.

Commiserations Dean, thoughts are with you!

Karma Sutra, what have I missed?

Morning all, just come back from lunch, teaching and 6 so thought I would catch up with you.

Lots of French type deserts here in ittle patisseries, no crumble, rhubarb my favourite.

Pretty wheelbarrow pictures and snowdrops coming up. Will be time for the snowdrop walk at Bank Hall between Southport and Preston.

Beautiful day here, clear blue sky and around 22 degs. There is a swimming pool here, but forgot cozzie and it is overlooked by all the blocks of flats so a no go area for me.

Bags under my eyes getting bigger and circles getting darker, I'll be glad to sleep in my own bed again. The beds here are like hardboard.
