Afternoon, just having a break from he marking. Have managed to suss out how to mark using our 'virtual learning environment', I am very pround of myself. Just hope the students can now access the marks!

Nola, are you on your ipad? How do you get smilies/smileys????

Pam, yes I have read all the historical ones, but got a bit bored of the repetition from previous books in some. Her non historic ones are shorter and very good reading.

Geoff, lots of tat in our house. OH just sorting out magzines to take to the docs, we are magazineololics!

FInished my book, couldn't resist it. The Little House by Phliippa Gregory, It must have come with a Woman & Home, I got it in the charity shop. Excellent read. The house is full of books, I must sort them out. I like to pass them on. Nothing like a good read and I have done a lot over Chrissie.

It's sort of sad when the decorations come down, don't you think? I quite tlike the holly, ivy and Xmas branches in a big vase, still in good condition, seems a shame to throw them out. I might just take the baubles off. Is tat allowed?

My pot of Christmass hyacinths is out and smelling lovely. Some people say they smell of cat pee, I love them.

Time for marking now. I will pop back when I get bored

Morning all, woke up early, which is amazing as I was reading a good book until late into the night. Feeling tired still, so made the tea and came back to bed. Will probably fall asleep over my book for another. Thank goodness I am working at home this week rather than being tied to my timetable. More marking today and prep for teaching.

Lovely house/garden photos. OH spends lots of time trawling the internet for houses in North Wales for us, would like to retire there, but will need to wait for a lottery win for that!

Have a good day all.

We do't have a front garden, I feel deprived. It is an 18C cottage, but nothing like some of those on Midsomer!

Green with envy, Lizzie, perhaps I had better call myself Spring Cabbage after all

Leslie Crowther and Peter Glaze.

Perhaps, if I say Petit Chou instead, it sound's so much prettier!

Bjay, do you need a little blue wheel barrow to go next to it now, a bit like Max Bygraves and his toothbrushes?
