Afternoon all, off sick, one eye swollen shut, the other just starting, seen the doc drops and antibiotics. OH trying to mix honey in warm milk for a compress for the sore eye ..... Watch this space.

Evening, just watching Antiques Roadshow through one eye. Fed up. Don't remember that episode of Friends, I am hoping it will just go away.

The day didn't get any bettere here, stayed in all day, none of my gardening jobs done. Oh well, tomorrow is another day ...

How about bread and butter pudding made with panettone which will now be on sale in the supermarkets?

I now have conjunctivitis! I hate eye drops, am very squeamish about eyes.

If I do it today Flo, I might be able to pinch some time back tomorrow if the weather is better! We have a 'consolidation week' next week, which means that most students will stay at home!

Weather forecast?

Where has the weather forecast gone? I thought that we had lost it when the advent calendars came on, but now it has gone and the weather forecast still hasn't come back. I found it very useful, could we have it back please?

Same here Jo, mist has not gone away and it is very dull.

Doing a bit of marking as OH still on bed, not feeling too good. I need to take the decorations down, but I might leave some of the foliage in the vase, as it looks nice. They had daffs at the GC yesterday, 2.30 a bunch! I think I'll wait until they are a bit cheaper.

KG, I agree, just dip when you can, we move so fast from one topic to the next that it is nigh on impossible to keep up anyway.

Good morning, the house is quiet and I am sitting here having a nice cuppa. Found Glengettie tea in LIdl, it's what we used to have at home when I was a child ,so thought I would give it a try again. Just sorted out the cooking dishes cupboard after the Christmas cook out. WHy don't people put the dishes back in properly? Men's spatial awareness doesn't seem to apply to cupboards.

Quite misyt but looks as if the sun is coming out, so we having the makings of a nice day. Christmas tree to pot and patio area needs sorting out, plants to inspect..  I am feeling rather lazy at the moment though. Or maybe out for the afternoon, we haven't been out far recently. OH not feeling well though.
