Afternoon, all shopped out now. Living room full of bags of pressies. Weather awful, rain, wind and fog, water pouring off the hills over walls and onto roads. drains can't cope. Got home and a crew is trying to fix the drainage close by to stop the water coming up out of the pavement. They have mended it 3 times before and are now trying to put something more permanent in place. Probably won't work though!

Shopped all day, so marking this evening.

What about Last Tango yesterday? Second series to follow, excellent news.

Family here on Saturday, I might have to make them watch Strictly.

Been to Hebden Bridge shopping today, got some nice presses. Went for fish and chips, they had run out of mushy peas! Disaster! Still very nice though.

I won't be putting my decorations out till Friday. I have nice shiny bright teeth now though. Haven't even got all the pressies yet. Need to shape myself, as they say around here.

OH gone out, so an hour to myself. Dentist this aft. Just ordered my Sainsbugs reward vouchers, which will pay for a tank of fuel. I obviously spend too much there, but we also have Tesco and Co-op vouchers to spend.

Loved the glove tree Becks, we have a box of those in the drawer. That could keep the kids occupied at the weekend!
