Sorry to hear that Maud, very sad.

I won't be putting my decorations out till Friday. I have nice shiny bright teeth now though. Haven't even got all the pressies yet. Need to shape myself, as they say around here.

OH gone out, so an hour to myself. Dentist this aft. Just ordered my Sainsbugs reward vouchers, which will pay for a tank of fuel. I obviously spend too much there, but we also have Tesco and Co-op vouchers to spend.

Loved the glove tree Becks, we have a box of those in the drawer. That could keep the kids occupied at the weekend!

Evening, been marking all afternoon, haven't got anywhere near enough done. Family coming Sat and Sun, so must get the pressie buying finished. Just having a break to watch SCD2 and eat.

Awake early this morning, couldn't go back to sleep. Tried reading but the book light kept going on the blink, decided to get up and have some hot chocolate. Might have to go back to bed though!

Afternoon, back from festive market, nice, but not enough stalls. Did manage to get the scrummiest chocolate brownie in an unusual little cafe though. Warm with cream, yummie!

Feeling very virtuous now, as most of my cards written.

Finished an excellent read this am, Still Alice, about a professor with early onset Alzheimer's. Briliant book, made me smile and cry. I looked after my mum when she had the disease.

Have to go back to Costco today, OH bought some Hunter Wellies, good price but wrong size!

Gnats in the garden, it must be warm.
