Evening one and all, managed to get home by 6 today, hurray. Caught up on all the chat, welcome back From lurgy Jean, sorry that it's visiting you now Kate, how cute is Alfie! Thanks for showing me what co area is, very pretty and delicate.

OH watching Man U tonight, at least no baking on. I think I might just curl up and fall asleep seeing as my invitation to the Bond premiere didn't arrive.

Morning Pam, just eating my porridge before venturing out into the fog. Running a little behind schedule, but couldn't get out of bed this morning. In fact, would be happy to climb back in.

Have a lovely day everyone.

I do Geoff. So when I am working at home I try to make up for that and when the students are not around I can be more flexible.

Evening all, sorry couldn't chat earlier, but got home late from work. I have porridge for breakfast lovingly made by OH, have it made with soya milk and put in dried cranberries.

Leftover lamb for tea, well ab bit late for tea now, will have to be supper.

Well done on the pumpkin front Geoff.

Jo, we usually go to Dunham Massey rather than Quarry Bank, but I do like it there. Missed the photos, did intend to go, but ended up in the car park after our walk and couldn't be bothered to go back down to the mill. How lazy is that!?

Managed to be some of the plants from the pots into the ground when I got home, but still a lot to do and so little time before the cold weather closes in. I could always have a week off work with stress!

I won't miss the actress! Poor Anton, he does get them!

Welcome to the forum, Le Hibou, ask away, the gardeners on here are always happy to answer questions. And itmis always nice to learn about other people's gardens wherever they are.

Afternoon all, just arrived back from a few hours at Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire. Didn't participate in the ghost walk around the mill though, Halloween stuff all around the place, Jess would have enjoyed it, Becks.

Trees looked resplendent in the sunshine on the woodland walk, very muddy though. Off out into the garden while there is still a bit of sun on it.

Is it miserable outside Leggi? Leek and potato any time for me and it's a beautiful day here. Try leek and asparagus too, 10 minuties and it's all done.

Roast lamb tonight. Should have done it last night but had sausage and mash instead.
