Sweet Peppers

When is the best time to stop sweet peppers producing could I pinch the tops out,and can remove some of the leaves to encourage ripening some ideas would be helpful, they are all in a cool greenhouse.

Thanks Bob I have grown these long peppers from  seed I have saved from the peppers I have bought from the veg market here in Lincoln they have grown very well with plenty of flowers on them and  the peppers are forming very well now, so I am keeping my fingers  crossed.

What causing holes in my sweet peppers there isn't any signs of bugs or grubs they are about the size of a small nail head in diameter.

Well done Catbee2 keep it up we have plenty of insects but could do with more the seemed to like Phacelia  and cornflowers.

Plenty of hover flies. a few bees and butterflies the bees and hover flies like the poppies we have got The hpericum bushes are getting over the best now but the hover flies and bees are still on them.

If you want to have plenty of bees hover flies have  Hypericum bushes mine are buzzing with red tail, white tail bees and all different kinds of hover flies.

Yes I have seen less bees also I have never seen less ladybirds as I have this year, I have plenty of hover flies though.

My Verbena bonariensis comes up every year I have taken cuttings and they have taken alright and come through the winter they are very hardy. kind regards Peter

They are very thin whitish looking wire wormy type in clusters always on the best ones, I wil try and send a photo when I can get one it might be in a week or so.

What can be eating my strawberry fruits they are very thin thread like worms, as many 12 or more in each fruit can anybody help, thanks.
