Cambria Orchids

My wife received a Cambria Orchid for mothering Sunday,it came in an enclosed pot and not a clear one,and was planted in normal compost,We are afraid that the flowers are starting to die,we are now wondering if it should be replanted in a clear pot with orchid compost.We  would to have some ideas please. Growing Blueberries In Car Tyres.

Is it possible to grow blueberries in car tyres if I stack them two high and line them with weed control matting,and fill with Ericaceous compost,or could I get away with only one tyre depth. Regards Peter

 At present my blueberries are grown in 30 cm pots, but I intend putting them in larger pots because the tend to get blown over when we get these very strong winds especially when they are laden with berries.You all so need a fertilizer that is for these types of crops.

When is the best time to divide Alstroemeria plants I have very large clumps only been in about a year I am a bit worried about them not flowering and getting damage by heavy rain in the summer and they seemed to be taking over the whole bed. Regards Peter

What is causing some of my tomatoes in the greenhouse to drop before they have ripened,some of them on the same plant are ripening alright the variety is shirley

My wife has grown these seeds from gardeners world and they are lovely flowers no problem with them at all.

Privet Hedge Trimmings

Can you compost Privet hedge trimmings in your own compost bins or is it better to send it in council green waste bins.Regards Peter

What can be causing my summer fruiting raspberry leaves to turn yellow,new canes seem to be alright its just the ones that are fruiting, please help. Regards Peter
