Garrya elliptica Silk-tassel bush

Posted: 22 February 2013
Overall: There is a beautiful example in Queen Victoria Street, London, outside St Andrews by-the-Wardrobe Church. It's very large - and looking stunning with the catkins at the time of writing (late February). Look out for it if you're passing! It's on a steeply-banked bed, above head-height from the pavement.

Clematis 'Josephine' Clematis

Posted: 02 December 2011
Overall: The advice on the label when I bought my Josephines was to plant them 45 cm away from their supports. It seems like a long way! What's the reason for this?
