Thanks Tracey.Have a look at Hayloft plants under magazine offers. They are good reliable plants at 10 for £12.50.They won,t flower this year but should next year.

Thanks for the welcome Kef and David.Sorry I haven't been on here for a couple of days.We are due an Ofsted inspection at work anytime now so have been making sure everything is as it should be.It's the last time I'll have the stress as I retire in 2 weeks. Can't wait. Then I can be in my garden as much as I want.Might even take some more photos.

This is my first hellebore flower last Sunday.

Totally agree with you Verdun.I haven't made many posts but i'm going to now I feel more confident about it.I love this forum. It's friendly and supportive in good times and bad like an extended family. It really cheers me up to read different threads both gardening and non-gardening.Like you said no-body has to read it if they don't want to.Why shouldn't we share our good news with friends on the forum.Sorry for going on.

Congratulations CG and well done to your son.It is a great achievement..It says a lot about you as a parent.

Having problems replying. It keeps deleting my post as I have just finished it.I'll try again. The photo was on 23 March last year FG I love the snow undisturbed as well but I can walk to work and so can most of the children I work with so it's carry on as normal.Hope it's not as bad this year.I'd rather have the spring flowers.

Lovely photo archie.

Am thinking I'll have to introduce myself as I've only submitted a few posts but have been reading the discussions for a while.Might pop over to the forkers and join you all there.

Can't believe it worked even if I sent the same one twice.I was going to say I wonder which one we will see first this year.

It's my first time ever posting a photo.Think one might have worked but not the other.I love this thread looking at the photos and reading the posts.I'm not a photographer but like to take pictures in my garden.

Growing Sweet Peas

Posted: 28/12/2013 at 21:27

Hi David. Thanks for your advice.I will put them in the aluminium greenhouse at the back with a barrier against the wind blowing in.Hopefully I will get the door fixed soon.I am looking forward to following this thread this year and hoping for 'wonderful' sweet peas of my own.Thank you.
