HELLO FORKERS!

Good afternoon all.

A bit late in wishing you well, Andy but hope everything is okay soon.

Bob, my usually good dog (ahem) used to chase the wheelbarrow and bite the wheel. I found something in Wilkinsons that claimed to mend punctures in mountain bikes etc. It's a green sludgy stuff that you squirt into the tyre and then blow it up again.  It was brilliant and enough to do two wheels relly cheap too.

Fantastic photos everyone.

It was lovely to see your photo of Perranporth beach Nikki as a live a couple of miles from there. The big rock is called Chapel Rock and there is a christmas tree up there with lights every year. Last year someone put a piano on top as well. How they ever got it up goodness knows.

Foxgloves might look lovely there as well, Janette and they will self seed everywhere. Easily grown from seed but they won't flower the first year.

Thanks for your comments.

There's an area of old mine workings opposite the house that we bought quite cheaply a few years ago. They are always adders in a certain spot in the spring and I've put corrugated tin sheets down, they are quite often under there along with grass snakes.  I try to take photos in the morning  before they warm up as they are off  before I get the camera ready then it's a matter of getting as close as I dare.

Love everyone's photos. I'm a rubbish photogragher and I've only got a cheap digital camera. I just take photos to keep some sort of record of the garden and wildlife arround me.

Adders are not everyone's taste but I feel privileged to see them. I always keep the dog on the lead where they might be as we've had a few dogs  bitten this year.

Good morning all.

I'm glad they managed to see you Stacey. It's criminal that you have to wait two weeks for results.

How do you manage to keep sweetpeas going? They always give up on me in the middle of the summer and I do try to keep picking them.
