Hello everyone,

Had an hour or so constructing my raised bed from sleepers. quite pleased with the result. I found some old brackets in the garage and screwed then together with them. Goggled raised beds and one similar to mine was over £300 so pleased to make mine for nothing. Will post a photo when rain stops. Still got to fill it up with horse poo and chicken poo with a layer of  MPC on top.

The RHS is giving away 10,000 packets of wild flower seeds to the first applicants so log on to their site to apply.

Good afternoon all (late for registration again)

Poor Jo, it never rains but it pours.

Happy birthday Inka.

It's a lovely day here and feels quite warm as there's no wind. I've been moving some old railway sleepers onto the veg garden to make a raised bed. Really heavy but managed with the wheelbarrow. I know, I know, preservative, but they are really old and I made a small bed with some last year in front of the oil tank and grew cosmos and now miniature daffs and they are fine.

All my corbaeas have germinated so I hope they will flower with an early start.

Too cream crackered to help with logs, sorry, after lugging sleepers about.

Happy Mother's Day,

So far I've only got a card from the dog. I'm not convinced it is from him though as although he says 'thank you for choosing me as a pup' he goes on to thank me for cutting his nails which he hates, unless he's being sarcastic.

Going to sons for lunch and will see daughter later so might get some booty then

Had to put a photo on as Geoff told me off for posting on the wrong forum.

These were a pound shop buy too.

Love all the photos. I wish I could grow crocuses or is it croci? The mice seem to get them.

I took this photo today. The pink ones aren't in flower yet and there's no sign of some very dark, almost black, ones i planted last year

Good afternoon,

It's been a lovely day here (sorry all those who've had a cold wet one) although Dean is going for one . Can't believe that we are going to have frost and possibly snow here on Monday.

I've been spreading compost on some flower beds today and unearthed a big slow worm. I covered him up again so I hope he'll be okay when  the cold weather comes back.

Good afternoon all. Bunny close your eyes. This is my dog when he was a bit younger pleased with himself because he caught a poor rabbit with myxomatosis.

I hope Bunny doesn't get her toes mixed up!
