Hello Geoff and Gary,

I haven't a clue about computors, just about manage to turn it on and send an email. Like, Jo, scared to fiddle and wipe out info. I don't know what system I use but can get smilies from the 'pull down thingy'. (is that a technical term?)

Good morning all,

Been absent for a day or two and yesterday when I had time to play the broadband was down. On ringing the help line a message said there was a country wide problem and engineers were working on the problem. Was so relieved when it was back this morning.

I've tried to keep up with you all and hope everyone is okay. Will catch up later.

Choccy guess........snowman

Good morning forkers,

Hope you are all keeping well and warm. Had my rayburn serviced this morning as it kept going out so hopefully will be okay now.

Going shopping to Newquay soon bui would rather stay in by the fire. Really cold out.

Choccy guess..... Three Wise Men

Be with you all later.

Good morning everyone.

Hope you are all okay and Becks and Jess are on the mend.

Great news about your friend, Inka. I'm afraid, reading some of the stories about the NHS and older people the outcome wouldn't have been so good. Have you heard about the Liverpool Care Pathway?

My younger brother is one of those mad people who goes trekking in the Himalayas. They have to drink as much water as possible to combat altitude sickness and as the Sherpas can only carry so much water they have to drink the contents of their hot water bottles in the morning when it has turned into a block of ice almost.

Good morning all,

Inka is so lucky to be able to go in the woods to choose her own tree.

Lovely chooks, Geoff. Realy spoilt if that's what they have for breakfast. Mine look tatty at the moment and only getting one or two eggs a day from 7 hens. They are moulting so might do better when they have new feathers

Chocolate guess..... dog

Have we any forkers  living in Hertfordshire? If so check your old lottery tickets

Good afternoon all, sorry for the absence

My daughter had a get together for her workmates so just got home. They are all different age groups and personalities but get on really well and I enjoyed  the banter and gossip.

Sorry you are still not well Becks.

Hi Becks, everyone seems to have had a disturbed night. My daughter never sleeps in but work at 2.00a.m. then went back to sleep and work when it was light. She had to drive my grandchildren into school as they missed the school bus.

My guess..... glitter pen and chocolate santa

Good morning Gary,

I've heard of men and sheds but not men and greenhouses. Do you wear your smoking jacket in there?

It's a better day here today so I going to carry on spreading the 4 tons of gravel on the drive. I was hoping to caatch the driver when it was delivered so I could ask him to tip it in small heaps but he tipped it in one big pile so it's hard work wheelbarrowing it about. It's granite and is covered with a fine dust and when it's wet the dog leaves white footprints all over so want it done as soon as possible then can wash it done with the hosepipe. Passersby will think I've gone mad washing the drive.

Good morning festive forkers,

Hope Becks and Jess are feeling better, also Inka.

Good luck with your daughter's move, Jean. Will she be living far from you?

Was it a nightmare, Glyn? Did Geoff have his clothes on?

I also thought Christmas present for choc of the day so I'll have another guess Reindeer stable
