Good morning Frank. Glad you are feeling a bit better.

Raining again in Cornwall, but had a busy day in the garden yesterday so don't feel guilty about being lazy today.

Did you watch that program on Wednesday on BBC4 about jets and bombers in the 50's and 60's.  I was lucky enough to have a ride in a Victor when I was stationed at RAF Wittering. Fantastic experience even though I disgraced myself and was sick when they did a simulated bombing run.

I've cleared a patch of grass for Lottie and Pam to pitch their tents and am debating what kind of cake to bake for their tea.

Good morning all. It is starting to feel a bit autuminal, Geoff. Hope you enjoy your hols. We don't expect to see any photos of you playing naked snooker in your hotel room on facebook. We have standards to keep up.

I also puzzled,Kate, how Dan got his passport after only 5 years. Lived here 35 years and still not got one. We have to sneak back over the border when we go out of the county.

Sometimes feel sorry that William has to behave himself. Can't remember any bad publicity about him. It was the same with the Queen and Princess Margaret. The Queen never put a foot wrong whereas her sister was very much a party animal.

I live in Cornwall and have an area of old mine workings close by. I still have one glow worm glowing every night. I only saw 6 at one time this year. I think once they find a boyfriend they stop glowing so I've still got one lonely glow worm.

Frugal gardening techniques

 After I've washed the kitchen floor I  put a small amount of bleach in the water and pour it on the gravel drive making sure it doesn't go on nearby plants. Still have to rake it every 2 weeks or so, especially this year.

Kate, didn't someone run in the lympics with a broken leg? He didn't realise at the time but had some previous injury that didn't reveal it.

My son and family are on holiday next week and I'm pet sitting again. One of the pets is a hamster that's well over 2 years old. Just my luck for something to happen to it when I'm in charge.
