Good morning all,

Please excuse my absence, just so much going on. The family are coming to me on New Years Day and then it will all be over for another year.

We had a power cut for 8 hours on Thursday but Western Power did ring up to apologise and explain the problem, something about lightning restrictors.

It was nice to sit in candle light and not be able to do much.

I tok the opportunity to look through some of the seed catalogues that came this week.

Both plants look amazingly like their names.

Merry Christmas everyone.

I've been in my bunker awaiting the end of the world and just popped out to see if it was all over. I'm astonished to  see everything is as normal so am making up hampers of beans, dried pasta and bottled water to give out as Christmas presents.

Quite frankly it was getting a bit smelly down there and the dog wanted out for a wee.

Hope everyone who has been poorly is on the mend and can enjoy a wonderful Christmas.

Good afternoon all,

Very festive table, Geoff. there dosen't seem to be room for all us forkers

I steeped my begonia corms in provado for a few hours then let them dry out. I don't know if that was the right thing to do.

Good morning all,

Hope you are all getting in a festive mood. Apologies for the absence but I try to keep up with you all.

It is a tragedy, Inka. There is quite often devastating news around Christmas.

I was going to say penguin too for the choccy guess so I'll say Ranulph Fiennes instead.

I was talking to someone the other day who'd had the fish pedicure. They enjoyed it. There were quite a few places here that did it but they all seemed to have closed now. I feel sorry for the poor fish.

I can't believe it! I've won a prize in an on-line competition. It was in Horse Sense magazine and they have just sent an email to say I've won a bag of Molliechaff extra horse feed and it will be with me within 28 days.

Tomato sauce is recommended for a healthy prostrate.

Hello Geoff and Gary,

I haven't a clue about computors, just about manage to turn it on and send an email. Like, Jo, scared to fiddle and wipe out info. I don't know what system I use but can get smilies from the 'pull down thingy'. (is that a technical term?)

Good morning all,

Been absent for a day or two and yesterday when I had time to play the broadband was down. On ringing the help line a message said there was a country wide problem and engineers were working on the problem. Was so relieved when it was back this morning.

I've tried to keep up with you all and hope everyone is okay. Will catch up later.

Choccy guess........snowman

Good morning forkers,

Hope you are all keeping well and warm. Had my rayburn serviced this morning as it kept going out so hopefully will be okay now.

Going shopping to Newquay soon bui would rather stay in by the fire. Really cold out.

Choccy guess..... Three Wise Men

Be with you all later.
