Good morning Gary,

I've heard of men and sheds but not men and greenhouses. Do you wear your smoking jacket in there?

It's a better day here today so I going to carry on spreading the 4 tons of gravel on the drive. I was hoping to caatch the driver when it was delivered so I could ask him to tip it in small heaps but he tipped it in one big pile so it's hard work wheelbarrowing it about. It's granite and is covered with a fine dust and when it's wet the dog leaves white footprints all over so want it done as soon as possible then can wash it done with the hosepipe. Passersby will think I've gone mad washing the drive.

Good morning festive forkers,

Hope Becks and Jess are feeling better, also Inka.

Good luck with your daughter's move, Jean. Will she be living far from you?

Was it a nightmare, Glyn? Did Geoff have his clothes on?

I also thought Christmas present for choc of the day so I'll have another guess Reindeer stable

Oh Joe, I feel for you. I hate workmen in, even worse when you wait all day for them to come. You can't even escape to the garden this weather.

Pam-I hope being woken up by a cockerel is not another euphemism.......................

Geoffrey really

Good morning everyone.

Could your bird be a female bullfinch , Bjay?

Just ordered my Christmas present to myself. Four tonne of gravel for the drive. I might regret that later on as it will be me spreading it about.

Good morning Geoff,

My cockerel woke me up about half five. Lovely moon so maybe it woke him early.

Gone back to bed with a coffee and watching the lovely skies.

Looking forward to going outside today and clearing the rest of the falling photinia and cutting the dahlias down and covering them with bracken. Someone forcast the coldest winter for a hundred years so hope they survive. Looks like it's going to be a lovely day, sunny but cold.

Oh,Jean, that's terrible. No wonder Becks is feeling poorly if she was allowed to dry out.

Another alternative, Geoff. I could always have my body made into a diamond or even a box of pencils.
