My guess 8.15

Is it an official competition and if so what are the prizes?

Good morning all,

Safely covered up and  bazookas away.

Get better soon Maud.

Flo can your parrot see the birds outside? I wondered how he reacted to them.

I want to finish clearing up ouside but raining now. The cosmos is looking tatty. Still got begonias and dahlias flowering. I leave the dahlias out and cover with bracken and have been lucky so far.

Went with my daughter and grandchildren to see Skyfall. I'm more of a Downton type of person and not really into action films but thought this was fantastic. Films that are really hyped up are sometimes disappointing but really enjoyed this one.

My grandchildren really appreciated your stressed out Santa joke, Geoff.

Hello Geoff, I think the gypsies baked hedgehogs in clay so the prickles would come off. Phillip Schofield is getting a bit of stick for eating a guinea pig while on holiday in Peru. I love guinea pigs but rabbits are kept for pets too and it seems  okay to eat them.

Hi Pam, I've always been pottiepam. I think I saw a pottering pam once on here but that wasn't me.

Hi, Becks, glad you are rosy. I've been tempted to change my broadband as it seems expensive but never had any trouble with it and always get straight onto this site so maybe better to stick to the devil I know. Virgin Media.

Thanks for your help all.

Not very clear photo but I've googled your suggestions.

Hebe, leucothe, gaultheria, euonymous, choysia and some kind of conifer seem to be what they are.

They were only £6.99 for the collection and I thought they'd give a bit of winter colour and then I'll plant them out next year.

I'm looking forward to Skyfall, Chris. I'm like you with traps but if the critters stayed where they are supposed to we wouldn't have to get rid of them. I've had a rat that has tunneled through the concrete floor of the chicken house. I set a trap and caught one that was killed cleanly but another was caught by it's leg and I had to kill it myself. i felt terrible especially as it had dragged the trap across the floor and would have suffered for some time.

I bought these yesterday and I'm going to put them in a tub underplanted with tulips. Could anyone tell me what they are and how big they are likely to grow?

Thanks.

Good morning forkers,

Apologies for the absence but have been trying to keep up with you all.

Esther  would be proud of your veggies, Pam.

Poor Kate. I was press-ganged into helping supervise a bunch of 11 year olds walking round the local village noting down points of interest. I was exhausted after. I think it was the stress of making sure they didn't end up under a lorry.

No chance of me going into the 'Jungle' Flo. I quite like creepy crawlies, even spiders, Geoff ,but I can't bear to watch the so called celebs eating them. Some MP has been kicked out of the party for taking part. how was she supposed to do her job from Australia?

My grandson's birthday today so we are going to see 'Skyfall' Tonight.

Kate, I think it's good for both me and the grandkids. I tend to do the simple things with them where as their mam and dad are rushing around taking them to one activity or party after another.

Liked the spider cakes. Pam and Lottie's pumpkin face is impressive.

I think Geoff's neighbours are spies and MI5 is bugging the place. Loved your jokes.

Flo, really spooky photos. I wouldn't like to go in your woods tonight.

Happy Halloween Inka. I will only have my younger grandchildren, who live next door, Trick or Treating.  We don't live near enough to anyone else.
