good morning Jo and anyone else who is awake.

I don't know anything about boilers but maybe the installer should come back. It might just need some adjustments.

When Bjay said her son had been to Cannock Chase I feared the worst. Didn't Becks say there were Yetis, big Cats and UFOs there.

I thought I'd discovered Dean's secret identity when I asked if he had a dog called Nigel but I was wrong.

Good morning fellow forkers.

Good luck with the shopping Chris.

Becks your hair is amazing, so shiny.

Glad you are connected before the weather turns cold again, Jean. Some New Yorkers are still without power and  a lot of electricy sub stations have to be checked before they can turn the power back on.  no wonder they are getting the teeniest bit upset.

Geoff, starting the day with a laugh, thanks.

Dean, do you by any chance have a dog called Nigel?

I liked Ivor the Engine when the dragons were on, Becks. Also liked Count Duckular

Glad you enjoyed the weekend Joe. It's strange how much the taste of water differs in different areas.

Christmas is creeping up on us. My daughter bought a ponsettia today when we went shopping.

Hello All,

Has your art class started again, Inka?

I remember Champion the Wonder Horse but not the one about the white horses. I loved the Guiness advert with the white horses in the sea.

I was horse mad but never had my own. I've got two retired shetlands now who help me cut the grass. My grandaughter is horse mad too and we watch Saddle Club when I babysit much to my grandson's disgust. Why are girls into horses and ponies and not boys? Most jockeys and a lot of showjumpers are men.

Hope Jean has her power back.

Must have a fiddle and learn to do these things, Bjay

Good morning all,

Hope I haven't been marked absent. Sitting down to a late coffee.

Hasn't anyone a long extension lead for Jean?

I loved Skyfall. Glyn. I don't go to the cinema very often either but was grandson's birthday. My daughter has just discovered that you can get two tickets for the price of one on Wednesdays if you have Orange mobile. (You can find out how to do it on their website but maybe everyone knows now)

I found a golf ball down the field this morning. Was it one of yours,Geoff?  My son and grandson were pracitising in their garden yesterday and I think a seagull must have found one of their balls. They play at Perranporth and the seagulls are a pest there pinching balls.

The 'Real Warhorse' was on telly the other day. Really sad.

Believe it or not I was a goody goody at school but a teacher once slapped me across the face as we were learning dance steps and all the girls lined up behind the lady teacher and the boys behind the man. When it came to dancing with a boy I didn't realise we had to hold each other and Miss must have thought I was being awkward. My partner didn't get into trouble just me. She would have lost her job today I suppose.

Hi Bjay. I thought it was a cricket but didn't know what kind.  I don't know if they survive the winter or just lay eggs to carry on for next year. I had two in the bedroom about a month ago so maybe they do hibernate

Talking about mice, there's a video on YouTube, 'mouse versus mouse trap' that's really funny. I'm useless and can't upload on here.   Nearly didn't set the rat trap when I saw it.

Glad Jess is okay now, Becks. they are usually starving when they've been off their food.

That's a thought, Gary. I bet they have medical exemptions then. I read somewhere they were going to be split in teams and be the first to find a helicopter. I would enjoy the programme if it wasn't for eating beasties. Have to turn over then. I think they'll have to come up with some new ideas. It does make you see some of these so called celebs in a different light. I was never a fan of Carol Thatcher 'til I saw her in the jungle.

Do you have any similar programmes, Inka? where they dump people in the  jungle that's about fifty yards from civilisation. You're lucky you've got Downton to look forward to. It finished here last week but I think there's a Christmas special.

Ahh thanks forks.

Do you still give out lines, Kate? hope you can relax at weekends and don't have too much lesson planning.

You might get a goose if you move to Spain. Geoff.

How is Jess, Becks?

Not seen Les Mis, but Alfie Boe singing 'Bring him home' is one of my favourites
