Good morning all. Get better soon all you poorly forkers.

Really cold with a north wind. Ideal haunting weather.

Love your fungi photos, Flo.

Thanks for your entry, Geoff.

Gary's upcycling ideas are impressive but I don't think he can enter the competition. Ideas have to be original.

First prize is some video tapes to put your ideas in practice.

Kev seems very funny, Geoff, should be a good night.

Oh Jo, hope it gets a bit warmer. The whole house gets upset when a job like that is tackled.

Thanks for identifying the fungus, Gary. That looks like the one.

There must be a use for all those video tapes. Using the tape as bird scarers, tying things up! How about making that today's competition.  The most original use.

Good morning all. Really cold here.

I wonder if Gary could identify this fungus. Took this photo this morning. Strangely in spite of the damp weather not too many toadstools about. I'm usually picking lots of field mushrooms by now but not a sign this year.

Good morning all.

Poor Jo, hope you feel better soon.

Hope you've put your speedos away, Geoff. Looking forward to some gossip when she gets home.

It's been chaos in Cornwall since Kate came down. Floods on Wednesday. Mysterious bangs on Thursday and yesterday the centre of Truro was abandoned because an unitentified package was found in a bank. They sent for the Bomb Squad but couldn't get the robot into the bank so sent a poor chap dressed like the Michelin Man in. He came out with a camera that had been put inside an ice  cream carton and taped up, that someone was posting on and left it in the bank.

Lovely day here. I'm just waiting for the dew to dry off the caravan then I'll put the cover on for the winter.

All the shrubs and trees have gone mad this year and tempted to cut some back although I know you are supposed to wait until the spring.

Oh, Geoff,

I never thought of that.  I had some weird dreams about flying in a spaceship last night and I have some strange marks on my body this morning.

On the other hand if it was a meteor, I believe they are quite valuable. I will of course share if I find one.

Good morning all,

Big excitement in Cornwall as a loud boom was heard all over Cornwall yesterday afternoon , not an earthquake  and some theories are that it was an asteroid. I think it was an aircraft as there were a lot of military aircraft flying around at the time.

Or could it have been Kate digging the plants up?

Hi Mel, My daughter was bought one for her birthday and it was grafted onto the bit where it 'weeps' at the top. could yours be the same and the graft has failed. Have you scraped the bark lower down to see if that is still alive?

The sad thing is, Lottie a vandal could sue if he injured himself on the wire, although I think we can use resonable force if a burglar breaks in.
