Actually that makes sense. Mine are in the greenhouse and even though I ventilate it well it still gets very hot in there.

Hi Pete, well its good to know it shouldn't hurt them. Yes it would be interesting to know why they do it though.

Any takers on this one people

My capsicums seem to be doing well producing plenty of peppers, but I've noticed that lately some of the lower leaves seem to turn themselves inside out so I am looking at the underside of the leaf instead of the top! I am watering them correctly I think, so can anybody tell me what's going on please?

Can anybody help me please.

My courgettes have started flowering and were doing great, but then the flowers started to die back. I had a look at them and there are loads of tiny black beetles inside the flower munching away at it. I've never come across this before, can somebody advise me on the best course of action please?

I'm growing my first batch of a chilli peppers called 'Basket of Fire' which according to the label are really hot, hence the name, I would say! What is the best way to cook with them please, as I don't want to blow my husbands head off

I am in the process of growing chillies and so far have some very healthy seedlings on the go.  I know that chillies dont like to be too wet, but how can I tell how wet the compost is underneath, which is where the damage is done if I get it wrong. Apart from waiting for them to wilt that is and I dont what it to get to that point!
