Invasive climbing weed, can anyone identify

We don't know what the flowers look like as he's ripped it all out before it got chance to flower. Spoken to him today and done some more research on white bryony and he says the description of the root is exactly what it's like so we're pretty sure that's what it is now. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions, I had no idea at all what it was!

White Bryony is looking like a good contender. I'll get him to check both hops and bryony and see what he thinks. I get the impression from other pics he sent that the leaf is quite smooth

I know bindweed, it's all over my allotment. It's definitely not that.

I have a friend who has an invasive climbing weed smothering shrubs in the garden. No idea at the moment if it flowers, loses leaf, changes colour etc. It twines on long stems but the leaf doesn't appear until it reaches light at the top of the shrubs. It then grows all around the tops of the shrubs. Will attempt to attach a photo

Sheep it or Slug gone

I tried this last year on my allotment and it didn't work against the slugs and snails and it was very smelly
