Verbena bonariensis Verbena

Posted: 04 May 2012
Overall: I planted this in clay soil in full sun and it grew beautifully.Grown towards the back of a border it provides height, and is so light and airy you are able to see through it to other plants.Bees and butterflies just love it.

Allium sphaerocephalon Round-headed leek

Overall: Roughly 4yrs ago i planted Allium Sphaerocephalon into light/well drained soil, to which they grew really well. They really need staking as the weight of the flower head makes them flop over.Another bonus is the amount of bees they attract, bees just love them.
