Rain and wind,  rain and wind and miserable as well but at least there are no floods here like some other folk in the country,  my heart goes out to them.

Have treated myself to an early Christmas pressie,  the complete series of "Blott on the Landscape" with David Suchet and George Cole,  anyone remember it,  that was the first time I saw  David Suchet in anything,  I know he became more famous as Hercule Poiret but he will always be Blott to me

 This is my darling Lydia she passed away 12 weeks ago aged 7,  she loved climbing up the Christmas tree,  it was lovely the first couple of days then it all went to hell so it used to get re dressed every few days or so,  so needless to say this year it's not the same without her,  the broken branch is round the back out of sight as I couldn't bring myself to buy a new one as it holds to many memories for me

That's interesting Kazza I shall have to have a look in my local Poundshop as I like to put mealworms out for my birds as well.

 My house tree not a very good photo it does look a lot better than that,  I'm trying to upload the outside tree but it's 34mb so might not work.

What's the weather like in your area?

Dull dark and dismal 6.7c though so not to bad chill wise,  the ground is sodden after the rain through the night so it's like walking in a bog when I take the dog out,  roll on Summer,  mind Spring will do count down for the shortest day
