christmas tree

Posted: 18/12/2012 at 14:29

Finally got into the garden to decorate the tree,  got most of the baubles on and the lights but it's started to rain,  here you are. you must admit that trees look better in the garden than in the house.

You can just see some of the lights but I shall take a video tonight.

I do hope you get some Zoomer they really are the best thing ever for walking in the snow even better when it freezes over you feel so safe.

Still only 4.2c so its warmed up a bit as it had dropped down to 3.1c when I was out with dog about 4.30 ish but it is supposed to drop right down through the night and tomorrow is going to be wet,  just what we need,  more rain.

Sunny here my side of The Styx as well Frank and a very tropical 10.1c not now though it's dropped to 4.5c but it's late in the day so I expect that,  it will a year tomorrow since I fractured my ankle so I must be careful when I go out with the dog in the morning

The PVA  makes the paint adhere to whatever you are painting also it last's longer as the paint pots are only Matt Emulsion so not water proof so makes it water proof as well,  the first chair I did was 2 years ago but it need's doing again but  it was my fault for painting it in full sun so it dried before I'd managed to paint it properly but it's no hardship as I can just sit in the garden and put the parasol up so it's in the shade,  at the end of the day the tester pots are only £1.00 and then the PVA glue which last's forever,  so my table only cost me £7.00 plus £3.00 for the PVA but I still have loads left

Hi Frank,  no I wasn't in the green house I went to the loo and I always look out of the window to see what's going on outside.

It's been rain rain rain all day but it did get to a high of 5.5c but the wind has been very naughty as well,  supposed to be a bit better tomorrow,  will wait and see.

When I went to bed last night it was -7c then through the night it got warmer or should I say less cold by 3am it was -3.1c then when I got up about 9am it was 2.3c just about tropical,  now it's 5.1c and lashing down,  just what I need,  more rain the ground this morning was still frozen so it laid on the top so it's like a lake on the back grass,  my poor worms and birds
