Bitter cold here and very windy and I mean windy,  apparently its the tail end of a Tropical Storm have no idea where it came from it's been 7c on an evening last thing when I've taken the dog out I had to put my thermal gloves on last night but then i don't do cold hands,  it's a lot warmer tonight even now,   but my tomatoes in the Gh are so confused,  will they ever ripen  wonder.

Its been glorious my side of The Styx today Frank,  it got to 22.2c so nice and warm to go and have a go at the garden,  it's just clouding in now but still 21.3 so not a lot cooler,  the Sky is going a bit pixelated  so I guess there's something naughty on the way,  oh well enjoyed today anyway.

Lovely and sunny here today but a bit on the chilly side,  it's just got to 12c,  the ground was very wet this morning when I was out with the dog and in the shady spots there was a bit of frost cover,  the berries on next doors tree are being eaten by the birds already so maybe it's going to be a long hard winter,  I do hope not.

My weather was the same as yours Frank,  it was gone 10 this morning before the dog and I managed to get out,  it was coming down like stair rods and the wind was blowing a right hooley,  then this afternoon it was nice and sunny but not very warm at all,  it did manage to get to a staggering 11.7c in the garden and now at 22.10 it's 6.7c,  how dare the weather men say there will be a touch of ground frost in places,  it's Summer for goodness sake !! ! ! ! ! !

Strange day here,  no sun at all just a grey day,  did manage to get the front and back grass but had to keep dodging the rain spots which were quite heavy at times at one point I thought it was hailing but I think they were just massive rain spots.

I fell foul of these last year,  I ordered some plants £34.00 worth through Ideal World,  after 3 weeks from dispatch the plant turned up in dreadful state so I took photo's of them all and sent the to Ideal World and they actually refunded my money in total including the p+p,  so  I would give them a very very wide berth.

It's been wall to wall cloud my side of The Styx Frank,   terrible heat though,  might have been better if the sun was out,  just had a blistering thunder storm and torrential rain,  solar lights came on in the garden it got that dark and the wind is really wild,  but at least the garden's had a good soak and hopefully the water butts are full again.

24.2c in the garden not much in the way of sunshine at all yet but I'm hopeful,  stifling hot and heavy but there's a nice cooling breeze but far to hot to garden,  some suspicious grey clouds over your side of The Styx Frank lets hope the breeze will blow them away
