Hay I made it !!!, had to change my user name though - use to be gem ( goodearthmother) not posted for a long time, busy year, but I have been lurking in the undergrowth reading what you have all been up to.  This new board looks OK, lets hope we fit in well

I was just thinking about you the other day Gem,  I was trying to remember which poster's had fallen by the wayside and you sprung to mind,  it has been a long time since you last posted but it's nice that you are still around so hang around and post as most of the Beeb's members are over here now.

What's the weather like in your area?

Rain,  rain and more rain,  the ground can't take any more so it's just laying on the top now,  in one spot the grass is under water much like this,  this was taken last year and it's not far short of it now,  no flowers yet like this they are all still in the gh waiting to be pricked out.  I have a Blackbird that has sort of claimed the garden as his own have called him Charlie as he's a cheecky little thing ,  he was having a bath in the water this morning,  it was so nice just watching him splashing around.

I'm very pleased to say that for the last 2 days there has been NO RAIN so after the last 8 days of the blasted stuff I'm a happy bunny,  but it seems as if it will all change tomorrow so bye bye sunshine and hello gales and rain possibly thunder as well .

Thanks tattiebogle,  I was so impressed with it myself that I've had it made into an A2 size and framed and hangs with much pride in the hall.

Same sort of weather as Franks (we live on opposite sides of The River Tees) it was lovely when I took Phoebe out (my dog) then by the time I got back in down came the rain and has rained on and off for most of the day.  There is a spell check button in the bar at the top when you are typing the message that's the one with the little ABC on it.
