Much the same here Frank,  trying it's hardest to snow and the weather men are telling me that we have a predicted 8 inches of it on the way,   the A66 over the Pennines is closed due to heavy snow,  and just when we think it's all over

March in your Garden

I'm going to have to be very careful this year as I'm growing from seed some Hellebores,  the first few weeks I need to keep them at about 15c - 20c then after that around 4c so they can go in the GH outside but it does say on the instructions that it can take upto a year before they germinate,  so I need to remember not to chuck them out as they have't germinated

Rain Sleet and now snow and the snow flakes are massive,  but as it's been raining the snow isn't laying at the moment everywhere is just a wet sloppy mess,  I should think if it drops below freezing which it's on 0.0c at the moment it will be a different story.

Is it still ok to feed dried fruit to birds bearing in mind the young

Just an ever so  slight  deviation from feeding,  when I was out with the dog a few weeks ago I found an area where a dog with very long soft fur had been brushed,  I picked it up put it in a poo bag and brought it home,  I put it in one of those wire flat suet feeders for the birds in the hope that they might take it for lining their nest's,  I've just noticed that they have started to take some as there's loads missing

Kinda dull and damp this morning with a light sea fret type rain,  had very heavy rain through the night so the garden is water logged again,  slight breeze and at 6.1c not to bad temperature wise I do see a break in the clouds so maybe just maybe the sun will get through.

I love Yarm Bunny like all old fashioned towns,  lovely market square and nice and near Preston Park,  well for me it's on  a bus route as I don't drive.

I change my avatar every month,  so this one's for St Patrick's Day,  the next one will be Easter.

I'm from Marton in Middlesbrough,  have lived here since 2006,  it's a ground floor flat with a shared garden but as the lady that lives upstairs hasn't got a clue when it comes to gardening I sort of get free reign as to what I do with it,  I have the tools she just admires.
