Zoomer,  when does Beechgrove start again,  I must admit to liking that better than GW,  didn't GW used to be on for an hour a few years back or is that just my imagination or was that something else I'm thinking of.

Right,  thermal vest,  wellies, scarf,  thermal gloves,  waterproof coat and hat and that's just to take the dog out,  15 tog quilt and electric blanket for bedtime I'm going back into hibernation,  the highest it's got to today was 2.3c,  rained most of the day, woke up to my usual little flood in the corner of the garden so the ground is now back to where it was 6 weeks ago,  sodden big time,  the snow today hasn't turned up yet but it's still there for tomorrow

Rain rain and more rain,  and the highest it got today was 4.3c with a very cold Easterly wind cutting right through and whats even worse is snow forecast Saturday and Sunday  its a case of weather wise 1 step forward and 3 back.

I enjoyed it today but I thought he looked unwell,  very drawn in the face,  nice to see Nigel back in his bouncy ways though.

You are right GG,  I have snow forecast for Saturday/Sunday and temperatures dropping down to about -4c again  .

I pricked out today 132 Cosmos plantlets,  there is also a green swathe of Poppies, Gerbera, Pansies, Sunflower by the millions the Lobelia are just about through and I'm running out of room already I think I shall have to get another Gh and put that in the kitchen as well,  the one outside has got Sweet Peas in,  normally when I sow seed less than half take,  oh no not this year with it been in the kitchen,  the moral of this is next year don't sow the whole packet

Talk about what you want on here for me a light interlude is great,  I have a dog and a cat,  Phoebe the dog is a Greyhound |Border Collie cross as worked out by a vet many years ago,   she will be 16 in June,  she has her moments even now will run around like a spring lamb then realise her age and stop,  she still chases her ball in one of the launcher things but I have to get it and launch it again,  Akhenaten Aki for short he will be 17 in August he's a house cat so almost comatose all day never been a lap cat or a loving cat but he will come for a stoke every day.
