Yummy! Where can I get the seeds?
We have what I think is Serbian Gold in our garden, growing as a bush interspersed by an early-flowering clematis. It doesn't fruit much, but looks lovely.
Lovely - what is it?
It looks like a dracaena to me.
The blackbirds in our back garden are more rural I guess and rush off whenever we move, let alone get close. They are lovely to watch though - providing we keep still. The squirrels, however, never stop eating everything in sight and are a different breed altogether!!

Just reading that its short-lived, oh well.
My dad's had wallflowers for donkeys years and done nothing with them but they come up every year!
Sorry Pottie Pam I don't look on the forum very often when I haven't anything current going on!
Yours is similar, I'd say it was a bush-cricket, but they all look so much alike.
Thanks Daintiness - thats it! Checked with the NHM website and it exactly fits the Southern oak bush-cricket. When you turn it upside-down you can see where its back legs would have been.
Thanks again all.
Is this one any better? Yes I am holding the 'tail' part which curves upwards.
Nutculet - I do know how many legs it has thanks - 4! With two long, fine antenna.
Anyone know what this is - found on a windowledge in a front garden in Dagenham
Sorry about the picture quality!.
