I have a allotment in the ne, for the last 7 years I have grown potatoes , and everyyear the same thing happens, they get scabe plus holed.i have tried various types plus different parts of the allotment.i get a good crop , and when pealed look ok till they are cut and are full of brown lines does not look nice on the dinner plate.soil has a ph of 5.5 to 6.5, this year I grew m not grow any next year if I can notsort it.please help.sorry its a book.

I have also got this problem, all was ok lastyear but this year just got flowers.all other plants in polly tunnel ok , so I will see what happens next year

I used to suffer from the same problem for years.last yeat I got hold of some insect was the best move I made.there was not a mark on any one of my plants,in fact it was the best year yet.this year I have made a walk in on and planted through weed fabric and also used slug pellets as no small animals or birds can get in it should be safe.

this year my 3 year old pear tree has only a few leaves on it and they are starting to curl. I live in the ne and we have had a fair amont of rain just late,so I don't think its plum and crab apple trees seem ok.can any one help?

went in to starbucks the orther day and found they were giving away the old coffee grounds. got two bags but not to sure what to do with them. can anyone help?

as a allotment holder for many years I agrea with most things said ,but I do buy a lot from wilko and have found it ok.the main thing is go steady and do abit at a time ,when things don't grow just right or the slugs have gone to town and eaten a lot then just say there is always next year.dont grow to much of one thing, I now have 3 freezers at home.enjoy and good luck

help,my cucumbers in my polly tunnel are getting flowers and then dieing off,so i get no cucumbers starting ,can any one tell me why?
