Agree Carol Kleins clothes were eye boggling awful.

yes i have had very poor plug geraniums still struggling to get them to grow

I live in South Wales and my geraniums are left in pots in a sheltered spot and re grow and flower.

I have lost a couple on occasions tough.

I find copper tape works well even after tainting

 i left mine in a bucket for 10 days then planted them they are doing fine

i suppose the difference is the blanket will be completely covered with plants, whereas the plugs will leave gaps until they grow together.

Could you do a mixture of both?


Is there anything missing from this home made compost?

Not keen on adding cardboard....shredded paper sometimes though but not newspapers.
