Tracey, just don't feel pressured to learn all the names, I learnt my first lot, by trying to identify my favourite plants, the rest just stuck in my head, without even realising it  Even common names are better than nothing and these are surprisingly descriptive of the plants. 

If you're more keen in veg, you'll probably want to start with them ultimately. Have you sowed a lot from seed yet?

If you're on iPhone and iPad that can make it come out like that Tracey. How bigs your garden? You could grow any perennial you desired, what are your favourites? And us lot will try and supply with with the information you need and I know I've got a few packets I wouldn't mind sharing

That is any gardeners dream, like the ultimate, I'm really excited for you and it's not even mine! What size is it? And any thoughts what youre going to pop in there once it's built?

Macropetala wesselton for me Stacey, it's gorgeous!  Although, I don't have huge knowledge of clematis by any means, but just makes you feel happy

sending my condolences to your plants Star, I'm pretty sure I've lost all my penstemons and gladioli. 

However, I do have a hebe still in flower and a gypsophila raised from seed last year

Thats me done for today, just sowed 67 packets of Echinacea seed, 8 straight species and 59 cultivars! Don't particularly want to look at another seed for the next few days,methinks I'll put some membrane down instead!

Morning guys! Well I got up at 5:30 this morning and in the car at 6:30 to go to work (half and hour down the road) and I've just this minute got in from 4 failed routes...The whole of Sussex seems to be under water!
