Hi everyone.

Three questions for everyone.

One - Do you add farm manure to your soil before planting winter squash? I am planning on doing it next year and i am not to sure. As far as i no you do but i am just looking to see if anyone can confirm it for me.. thanks

Two - how many pea shoots does it take to wight a 50g bag

Three - how many parsley plants does it take to make a 50g bag. (10 seeds per pot)

Any help will be very helpful... thanks

Planting sage and thyme together?

Posted: 07/10/2013 at 16:15

Hi everyone

This might sound a bit stupid but can you plant sage and thyme together in the same pot? I have planted a scented garden for the person next door but find myself having to keep replacing the sage and at the moment i can not get to the bottom of it... so i was wondering is it something to do with the plants themselfs? the soil is good, there doesnt seem to be any 'fighting' between the plants and lots of room but yet sage keeps dying.. any ideas why?? Can they be planted together or not??

Any insight will help thanks.

Thanks. I am still new to growing (been in the trade 2 and a half years now) ive never grown Cornus before now...

Wondering if it will be doing this early due to the fact it hasnt been watered daily or would it need a small feed of organic seaweed extract, plant growth stimulant. ??

Hi all

My Cornus alba got planted last year from bare root, it has grown very well this year.

But over the last couple of weeks i have noticed the bottom leaves starting to go red and working its way up.

Any idea why this is happening?

Any help will be very greatful

Thanks
