Hi

The tree/shrub is deciduous. The colour of the leaves in autumn is pretty much the colour of the leaves in the photographs. There does appear to be a flower/catkin bud towards the top of the twig.

Hello

I know this is rather a long shot, but  can anybody identify the twig below.  The tree/shrub it was attached to was growing in my parents garden until recently (it blew down!) and they would like to replace it.  The tree (?) was about 6m tall.
