Growing tomatoes

Posted: 25/05/2015 at 19:31

My tomatoes are doing really well so far this year, they already have 3 trusses of flowers showing with flowers open on trusses 1 & 2. They are at perhaps the stage shown or just a bit further on than shown in my part 4 of growing tomatoes videos. Here is the link:

Thanks Barry! Yes tatties are very difficult to clear every last one of the little ones when harvesting. I confine mine to bags now which works a treat. Your garlic sounds great and you planted it out before me by about 4 weeks, mine is looking good too ( tops) but don't know what they are like underground. Onions are doing well.

Tiptonnic, that's not good about the Badgers digging your onion bed up, I bet they won't be there in the autumn to help dig, when you need them! Lol.

very frustrating for sure, I often get similar problems with cats digging up the beds.

thanks for the info North Durham, sounds like it's a good product!

I just saw that I put Keyes Fluid instead of Jeyes Fluid in my original post. Apologies if my typing caused any confusion for anybody.
